It’s time for the racing car fans to take a long sigh of relief as Zagato reveals the image of its new vehicle which is not a mere design exercise but is deemed a true racing car. The car is developed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo’s racing exploits and will be reveled at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
Dubbed Alfa Romeo TZ3 corsa, the race car follows the footsteps of the original Alfa TZ and TZ2 and is based on a mono shell carbon fiber tubular chassis overlaid with a lightweight aluminum body.
The car has been developed with superior design and excellent aerodynamics and other than marking the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo’s racing heritage, the car also pay tribute to the 90 years of collaborated effort between Alfa Romeo and Zagato,
As far as the technical details of the racing car are concerned, the company reveled none, still it is rumored that TZ3 Corsa will have a 4.7-liter V8 engine.
