Kawasaski USA To Launch Ninja 300R & 400R

2013-Kawasaki-Ninja-250R-31
The good times are sure to roll as Kawasaki plans to launch two more Ninja branded bikes. The Japanese automaker will offer the Kawasaki Ninja 300R and Ninja 400R in the US markets next year. These two performance motorcycles will sit above the Ninja 250R (pictured above). Currently there is no good 400cc bike in the market and rumors were doing the rounds of a Honda CBR400R and a Yamaha R4. However with Kawasaki confirming a 400cc bike, its just a matter of time before its Japanese rivals unveil their 400cc motorcycles.
Both the bikes have a parallel twin engine. The Kawasaki Ninja 300R produces a peak power output of 39 BHP at 11,000 RPM from its 399cc engine. This makes the 300R a very sporty machine, just like the Ninja 250R. The Kawasaki Ninja 400R on the hand is already on sale in Canada. The 399cc engine produces 44 PS of peak power 9500 RPM and 37 Nm of peak torque at 7500 RPM. The Ninja 400R has a kerb weight of 203 kgs and a tank capacity of 15.5-litres. It looks very similar to the Ninja 650R.
In the U.S. Kawasaki sells the Ninja 250R without fuel injection. Elsewhere the Ninja 250R is offered with fuel injection. The carbureted Ninja 250R could be replaced by the Ninja 300R but nothing is confirmed as of yet. Clearly Kawasaki is on a product assault but sadly the company doesn’t find the Indian market lucrative enough due to low volumes.
While Kawasaki will put the Ninja 300R and Ninja 400R on sale in U.S markets in early-2013, an Indian launch seems unlikely. Bajaj-KTM plan to launch a KTM branded 350-375cc bike next year and it is uncertain as to where the Ninja 300R and 400R would fit in. The Ninja 250R is currently priced at around Rs. 3.2 lakhs, while the Ninja 650 costs around Rs. 5.5 lakhs (on-road). The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R would be more expensive, leaving little space for the 300R and 400R (pictured below) to fit in.

Kawasaki Makes Significant Changes To 2013 Ninja 250R

2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Kawasaki has finally given the Ninja 250R some significant changes as the quarter-litre machine is for the very first time facing some real competition. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R has been the world’s best 250cc motorcycle for more than 20 years and never had any real challenger. However, Honda brought in the CBR250R last year, which has made Kawasaki sit up and take notice. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R does get minor updates (in the form of new colors) every couple of years but for 2013, the Japanese automaker has finally given the bike some very noteworthy upgrades.
The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R gets design changes all around including a new muffler and tail. The front now houses twin-headlights while the fairing has been redesigned to cool the bike faster and prevent the heat from bothering the rider. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R is now more aerodynamic as well. The Japanese automaker has also gone ahead and made changes to the 250cc, parallel twin engine, giving it new cylinders, piston, crank cases along with a revamped fuel injection system and dual throttle valves. The steel tube frame has been redesigned as well which cuts down vibrations. The company has given the Ninja 250R new suspension system and brakes along with offering ABS as an option.

Another important change to the Kawasaki Ninja 250R is the new instrument cluster. Many have complained about the boring analogue meter found on the old Ninja 250R and the company has finally incorporated an all new console. The new cluster houses a rectangular LCD display along with an analogue tachometer, which is red-lined at 13,000 RPM. There are the usual tell-tale warning lights, which are spread across the complete cluster. The alloy wheels have been re-designed and look very similar to the ones found on the KTM Duke 200 and the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. The Ninja 250R has been given new dual tone colors too. The quarter-litre machine continues to weigh the same as before, but the ABS version is 2 kgs heavier at 174 kgs. Power figures are yet to be revealed but we expect them to remain the same at 33 BHP.
Bajaj Auto will almost certainly bring the 2013 Ninja 250R to India but when is the real question. Sales of the Ninja 250R have declined massively post the Honda CBR250R’s arrival. Further more, Bajaj is focusing more on brand KTM than Kawasaki which has resulted in the Austrian brand overshadowing the Japanese one in showrooms. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R is currently brought in through the CKD route (kits being imported from Thailand). Bajaj Auto needs to consider local manufacturing, which can lead to the Ninja 250R’s price to drop by a good Rs. 1 lakh. The 2013 Ninja 250R at Rs. 2.25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) is just what is needed to paint the town green. Meanwhile feast your eyes on 67 photos of the 2013 Ninja 250R below.

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650R photo
The 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650R/ER-6F has finally broken cover and wasting no time we head straight to the looks of it. Plenty of things have changed in this bike to give it a more razor sharp feel. The front fascia has been modified a bit and the changes extend to the fuel tank, front fairing, tail section and also the seats. The heart of the bike, the 650cc motor producing 72 bhp with DOHC, 8 valve liquid cooling has been kept the same though the company claims to have tinkered with the bottom and mid range power delivery making it more fun to ride.

A new twin-spar perimeter frame is introduced and the black silver coating makes the bike visually stunning from the sides. The company also states that 650R’s frame also has become stiffer making for sharper handling. The bike claims to return a economy figure of 17.7 kmpl. With a tank capacity of 19 litres, it should make around 300 to 350 kms before a refuel is necessary. The bike also has an Eco mode which lights up in the instrumentation to help you control the fuel consumption. So overall, the motorcycle has been made more fun and yet practical at the same time!!

megan fox motorcycle transformers

Unlike Megan Fox, some chicks actually CAN ride bikes!
And so, I’ll relate something that happened yesterday before my day got progressively worse:
It should be law that if a female carries an “M” designation on her driver’s license, she should be allowed to open carry a firearm strapped to her left thigh or shin, whichever is easier to grab when on a motorcycle. If not this, then a taser. I’ve been running a lot of short errands lately so no helmet (don’t start with me, I know and like the honey badger, I “don’t care”). So of course, the Ape Men cometh. I’ve been subjected to hoots and howls lately that I am sure make the female baboons’ butts in Lincoln Park Zoo glow flaming red and juicy with lust at the sounds of such mating calls.
The problem is that I am not a baboon, monkey, or ape of any sort.
Finally, yesterday, as I was pulling out of a parking spot, this ASSHOLE got in front of my bike yelling at me about how he was “talking to you, Bitch” about how “he just wanted a ride on the bike, damn.”

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a sequel of Transformers 2007. In both the versions, we can see the continuous battle of vicious workings of evil. Transformers 2 is an action packed movie with numerous new characters. The Decepticons, Autobots, and Humans all work together in the development of the story.
The movie is marked with drama, action, suspense, thrill, speculation, tragedy, grief and joy along with strong characterizations and perfection of plot. All the characters project high levels of energies. Just like part 1, we see here the goodies fighting with the evils to protect the world and humanity from the evil clutches.
Surprisingly, we see Megatron again in Transformers 2. One of the Constructions resurrects him. He comes to life in part 1 also with the help of a small robot: Construction. The difference in the story of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is that now the Decepticons are after Sam to get some information from him regarding the origin of the Transformers.
This information came to Sam in the form of some visions that he gets from the remains of Allspark. Sam is shown going to a college to learn astronomy. He is away from his girlfriend Mikaela as she is not able to go to the college due to financial reasons, and is working at a motorcycle workshop. Sam has also got another human helping hand; Leo Spitz. Bumblebee will also be staying away from Sam, which one can hardly expect after watching the first part. He can't accompany Sam to the college as any fresher is not allowed to park his car at the college.
