Well, many may not be familiar with the Delahaye USA today but after seeing ‘Bella Figura’ Bugnotti, you’ll not only know but fall in love with it. Inspired by the 1937 Bugatti Type 57S, Bella Figura Bugnotti was a tribute to Ettore Bugatti’s son, Jean.
The carbon fiber bodied coupe was in development for more than a year and will be launched at Retro Auto Aug. 13-15, in Pebble Beach, during the annual classic car festivities in Northern California.
The old beauty has been revived while using modern mechanicals that includes drivertrains, chassis components and electronics and what comes out is the blend of Delahaye and Bugatti.
It’s body is designed by top hot rod builder Chip Foose eight years ago and the car will be available as a turnkey product complete with the customer’s choice of drivetrain and in either coupe, convertible or targa body styles.
However, there is no info available about its availability and pricing, the brand is expected to reveal it closer to its unveiling at 2010 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 13.
